Eligibility & Team Registration

• Student Qualification: Open strictly to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.
• Age Limit: The maximum age limit for participation is 26 years (exempted for OPEN-BOLLY QUIZ and OPEN JAM N VERTEEZ).
• Identification: All participants must carry a valid physical college identity card. Soft copies will not be accepted.
• Team Representation: Colleges must send exactly one team per event. Cross-college or open teams are not permitted.
• Team Substitutions: If a team qualifies for the final round, no substitutions are permitted for the finals.
• On-the-Spot Entry (OTSE): Subject strictly to the availability of open slots.

Submissions & Technical Requirements

• Media Drives: All pen drives must be properly labeled with their respective IC codes and contain files exclusively in audio format. The management is not responsible for technical errors arising from improper formats or labeling.
• Required Submissions: Prop lists and song/track lists must be submitted during the Umang 2026 final representatives’ meeting. Failure to submit these lists will lead to disqualification.

Code of Conduct & Performance Standards

• Content Decency: Obscenity and vulgarity in any form are strictly prohibited. Participants unsure about their outfit or performance choices must consult the organizers prior to performing. Organizers’ decisions on disputes are final.
• Language Guidelines: All language used must remain respectful and free of offensive, vulgar, or derogatory remarks.
• Substance Prohibition: Smoking, drinking alcohol, chewing pan masala, or related activities are strictly forbidden on college premises and event venues.

Safety, Security & Property Rules

• Prohibited Items: Weapons, penknives, knuckles, chains, lighters, inflammable materials, or any objects capable of producing fire are strictly banned.
• Property Care: Damaging or tampering with college property is a serious offense and may lead to the cancellation of the offending college’s entire participation.
• Personal Belongings: The management takes no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
• Management Authority & General Administration
• Decision Finality: The rulings of judges and moderators are final and binding across all events.
• Discipline & Removal: Misconduct will lead to immediate disqualification. College management reserves the right to ask any student to leave the campus/venue for disciplinary concerns.
• Event Rights: Rights to admission are reserved. The organizers reserve the right to modify rules and regulations if necessary.
• Financial Policy: The organizers will not reimburse any expenses incurred by participating colleges.

• All the participating colleges will have to register for all the events online through the website—
• Events having restrictions on the maximum number of participants/teams shall be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
• The last date for online registrations is 8^th December 2025.
• Once the event registration is over, if a college team backs out from any event on the main day, then it will lead to negative marking.
• Participants must report to the registration desk two hours prior to the event.

The Registration Desk will close 45 minutes before the scheduled time for registered teams and 30 minutes before for OTSE.

Each college will be awarded the following points for winning any event:

OTSE Participants’ points will be considered for the Star of Umang.
